Ultra Focus is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app does not collect:

• Browsing or activity data

Authentication Methods and Data Storage

Ultra Focus offers multiple authentication options, each with different privacy implications:

1. Google Sign-In / Apple Sign-In / Email Sign-In

When you sign in with Google, Apple, or Email:

• Your authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication (owned by Google)
• Your task data is stored in Firebase Firestore (Google's cloud database)
• This means your data is stored on Google's servers and subject to Google's privacy policies
• Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest on Google's servers
• You can export your data at any time using our AES-256 encrypted backup feature

2. Offline Guest Mode

For maximum privacy, you can use our Offline Guest Mode:

• No account creation required
• No internet connection needed
• All data stays locally on your device
• You can export/import your data using AES-256 encrypted backup files
• Complete privacy - we have no access to your data

Data Export/Import Feature

For privacy-conscious users, we provide robust export/import functionality:

• Export all your tasks to an AES-256 encrypted file
• Use a strong password (12+ characters with mixed case, numbers, and symbols)
• Your exported data is completely portable and secure
• We cannot recover your password - store it safely
• Import your data on any device with the correct password

Optional Pro Features and AI Integration

If you choose to use the Pro version with AI features:

• Task content may be processed by our AI service providers to deliver AI features
• We use industry-standard encryption for all data transmission
• We do not store your task content on our servers after processing
• You can use your own API keys if you prefer (in Free Edition)

Newsletter Subscription

If you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter:

• We collect your email address and optional name/phone to send you updates
• This information is stored securely and never sold to third parties
• You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email

Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
