Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms", "Terms of Service") carefully before using the Ultra Focus application.

Your access to and use of the Service is conditioned on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.

Use of the Service

Ultra Focus provides a task management application that operates on a local-first basis. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your data
• Creating regular backups of your data using the built-in export functionality
• All activities that occur through your use of the application

Free and Pro Editions

Ultra Focus is available in two editions:

• Free Edition: Provides full core functionality at no cost, with no time limitations.
• Pro Edition: Includes additional AI-powered features for a fee. Payment details are provided within the application.

Pro features require a valid license. We reserve the right to modify the features included in each edition.

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Ultra Focus and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.

User Data and Storage

Important: Data storage depends on your chosen authentication method:

Cloud-Based Authentication (Google/Apple/Email Sign-In)

• Your data is stored in Firebase Firestore (Google's cloud database)
• Data is subject to Google's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
• We use Firebase services for authentication and data storage
• Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest on Google's servers
• You can export your data at any time using our encrypted backup feature

Offline Guest Mode

• All data remains locally on your device
• No cloud storage or external servers involved
• You are responsible for backing up your data
• We have no access to your data

Data Portability

Regardless of your authentication method, you can:

• Export all your data to AES-256 encrypted backup files
• Import data from backup files with the correct password
• Transfer data between devices securely

You retain all rights to your data. We claim no ownership over your task content.

Termination

We may terminate or suspend access to our Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Ultra Focus, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

• Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;
• Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
• Any content obtained from the Service; and
• Unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content.

Disclaimer

Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or course of performance.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Changes

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
