How do I back up my tasks?
Go to Settings > Backup & Restore > Export to create an AES-256 encrypted backup file of your tasks. Store your password safely as we cannot recover it.
Is my data stored in the cloud?
It depends on your authentication method:
- Offline Guest Mode: All data stays locally on your device with no cloud storage
- Google/Apple/Email Sign-In: Data is stored in Firebase (Google's cloud) for sync across devices
Both options support encrypted export/import for data portability.
What's the difference between Free and Pro editions?
The Free edition includes all core task management features with no time limitations. The Pro edition (coming Q3 2026) will include AI-powered features with built-in API keys for seamless integration.
Can I use my own AI API keys?
Yes! The Free edition supports user-provided API keys for AI features. The Pro edition includes built-in API keys for convenience.
When will mobile and desktop apps be available?
Mobile apps (iOS and Android) are planned for Q3 2026, with desktop apps (macOS, Windows, Linux) following in Q4 2026.
How do I switch between authentication methods?
You can export your data from one authentication method and import it into another using our encrypted backup feature. This allows you to move between offline and cloud modes as needed.
Is Ultra Focus truly private?
Yes! We collect zero telemetry, no analytics, and no crash reports. In Offline Guest Mode, no data ever leaves your device. Even with cloud sign-in, only your task data is stored (encrypted) for sync purposes.
